More than just your typical singer trying to make it in the music industry. Kyle Cartner is the new name on every country fans lips, with The Viper Creek Band’s Damien Baguley saying “Kyle has one of those voices that makes you instantly stop and listen.”
Originally from Cobar (outback New South Wales), the young 24-year-old packed up and moved to Tamworth in late 2015 to secure his place among Australian country music artists.
This move proved to be the right choice! Within a few weeks of Kyle’s move, he was selected by concert and festival organisers to open for Australian country stars Beccy Cole and Sara Storer. As well as sharing the stage with The Viper Creek Band, Drew McAlister and Christie Lamb.
2016 saw Cartner perform at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster and touring with The Viper Creek Band & Adam Eckersley Band.
In hope of recording his debut EP in 2017, Kyle has been working with Australia's finest songwriters such as 2 x APRA song of the year nominee Matt Scullion who has over 90 cuts and 4 Australian No.1 hits.
“Look out for this guy. He has a massive future ahead of him.” – Damien Baguley.
